▶ List of ingredients for 1 person : - ½ potatoes - 100-150g of smoked bacon. - ½ onion - ¼ of Reblochon cheese (about 150g) - Pepper
▶ Tips :
Some people pre-cook potatoes, bacon, onion with white wine and add heavy cream in the recipe, you can test if you want, but the real recipe is this one. Do not add salt, the smoked bacon and cheese are enough salty. Please buy a real French Reblochon. Before buying a Reblochon you must find 2 things written on it: - « Reblochon » - « Appellation d’origine protégé » or « AOP » (protected designation of origin)
Never buy another cheese which dont have these reference, like « Cheese for tartiflette » or “cheese for fondue” it’s false cheese.

The tartiflette is not an old dish. Indeed in the 80s the manufacturers of Reblochons had difficulty in selling all their cheese. So they created and popularized this recipe and successfully sell a lot more cheese
