Hey friends, in this video we are making a tasty vegetarian lunch or dinner side dish - Creamy Broccoli (or cauliflower) with cheese and bechamel sauce (white sauce).

It is a quick and easy recipe, which comes together in just about 15 minutes. Moreover, it is very versatile, and you can season and flavour it as you like. Add whatever vegetables you have on hand, and you have yourself an amazing, super delicious, filling meal in minutes.

You can steam (or even boil) the broccoli or cauliflower in an electric steamer, or traditionally on the stove top. If you do boil the broccoli, save the water as broccoli stock to use in curries or to make bread dough. It has lots of nutrients.

The white sauce (bechamel) can be seasoned with some mustard sauce, may be some ginger powder, chilli flakes, smoked paprika, - any seasoning or condiment you want.

I have used yellow bell peppers and carrots along with broccoli, but you can add your favourite vegetables - mushrooms, peas, corn, spinach - anything. Meats like cooked chicken would work too.

Serve warm, and have a hearty meal with your friends and family.
